Similarities and differences from ancient and modern times

Rome is a beautiful city, but they have many problems with pollution. They have a  lot in common from ancient and modern times. They both have had many problems with polluting  the Tiber river. In 2014 one company said that “ I would be ashamed to show the Tiber river in this state.” Ancient Rome wasn't much better.Everyone in Ancient Rome got their water from the Tiber  River, they got all their water for bathing, cooking, cleaning, and drinking. In recent years the Tiber has become very dirty again. Once the water got two dirty they started invented new ways of getting clean water to them. They created an aqueduct that delivered clean water from a different more clean river. The first aqueduct was built in 312 B.C. These aqueduct still exist today but they don’t use them anymore. Instead their water comes from underground piping. On the out skirts of rome it’s mostly very deep wells.
